(b.1985, Amsterdam) is an artist and designer based in Berlin. Welker works across media, from textiles to ceramics. Her practice transforms everyday objects and, in so doing, transforms the spaces around them.
(b.1986, New York) is an artist based in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Halley makes every piece by hand. She is known for her hand-pinched ceramics, which use the child-like technique to add texture and depth to the sculptor’s simple forms and colors.
Nancy Funk is a ceramicist based in the Bay Area. The ceramic hands offered here were originally modeled after those of Funk’s son.
