Designed by Herbert von Thaden in 1946 and produced by Thaden Jordan in Roanoke, Virginia. Stamped. Great American design—barebones functionality, simple materials. hese are very collectible. They were on Antiques Roadshow. These two are in better condition than the other two, but be gentle--they're old.
Condition: the ply is delaminating and the backs are no longer stable. Great look at, but should not be in daily use.
